"DEFENITION OF LITERTURE"

     I hope all is fine ok.This time i come back for all of you by trying to explain some understanding of litherature based on source that I can.It is very difficult to offer a precise defenition of literature,but we shal give a working defenition of it in line with we hall be studying.

• Oke the firts I will star with defenition from Mr.Budi hammudin "Who said litherature is part of art".

• Literature can be defined a 'pieces of writing that are valued as work of art,espcially novels,play and poems'(oxford advance learner's english dectionary).

• That could provide information in large dectionary Indonesia literature is "karya tulis bila dibandingkan dengan tulisan lain,ciri-ciri keunggulaan,seperti keaslian karakteristikkeindahan dalam isi dan ungkapannya".Literature berarti karangan yang mengacu pada kebaikan  yang di tulis denga bahasa yang indah

• while according to University of mississipi,fall 1995(instructor:Jhon B.Padgett) "Introduction to Literature," is a sophomore-level course which introduces to students the genres of fiction, poetry, and drama. Among the objectives of the course are.

              to enable students to better understand the themes of literature

              to be better able to read and comprehend literature, and

              to improve students' analytical and interpretive skills.

    Also key to this course is a willingness to find   in literature thoughts, emotions, and ideas that are relevant to "real" life.

         Of all the understanding of the experts above we can conclude that bhan reading literature that can be used in a variety of activities, an essay in the form of phrases, plays, poetry or literary text can also be interpreted as a reference.
